Our main facility in Assumption Parish, Louisiana (Napoleonville) is officially ready to welcome volunteers for dog walking days! 🐶✨

If you’ve ever dreamed of strolling through peaceful woods, open green fields, and doing it all alongside some of the coolest dogs around — this is your sign!

🌿 When: Saturdays ONLY
📍 Where: Napoleonville, LA – our ONLY location
🐕 What: Dog walks only (we are not offering tours)

Whether you’re local or planning a visit, we’d LOVE to have you come out and enjoy the beautiful countryside with our pups. It's a perfect way to spend your day — helping out, relaxing in nature, and getting some tail-wagging love.

IMPORTANT:
✅ You MUST RSVP – no more than one week in advance
🚫 Due to limited staffing, no walk-ins or unannounced visitors can be accepted

Recently, we were called to assist the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office in the confiscation of 42 Pit Bulls living in heartbreaking, deplorable conditions.

And yet—despite it all—they greeted us with tail wags, kisses, and so much hope. ❤️ These dogs are small in size but full of love, resilience, and the sweetest souls you could ever meet.

The best news?
They’ve now been legally released for adoption or fostering!

Now grown and matured into well-behaved, loving companions, these two brothers have blossomed under care, patience, and structure. They still adore each other’s company, and their bond is something truly special to witness.

He’s safe, loved, and spoiled — just like he deserves.

🎃🍠 Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Dog Biscuits 🍠🎃
A tail-wagging, tummy-friendly treat you can bake at home! 🐾

Looking for a healthy, homemade snack your pup will absolutely love? These biscuits are packed with flavor and nutrition:

✨ Ingredients:

1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked & cooled)

1/2 cup canned pumpkin (unsweetened)

2 cups whole wheat or oat flour

1 tbsp peanut butter (unsweetened, xylitol-free)

1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

👩‍🍳 How to Make 'Em:

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.

Mix sweet potato, pumpkin & peanut butter until smooth.

Add flour (and cinnamon) until dough forms.

Roll out & cut into shapes

Bake 25–30 min until firm and golden.

Cool completely before serving.

Airtight container: 1 week
Fridge: 2 weeks
Freezer: 3 months
