THE ADOPTABLES

These dogs are currently available for adoption.

If they have been “virtually adopted” that means that their adoption fee has been covered by their virtual adopter for an approved application.

We know—breathtaking, right? Meet Tormund, an athletic and adventurous hound who’s looking for a home that matches his energy and intelligence.

He’s not hyper, just highly aware and always on the lookout for his next challenge. Tormund would thrive in agility, scent work, or any active lifestyle where he can put his talents to use. With a strong toy and food drive, he’s eager to please, perfectly crate trained, and well-behaved—he just needs a job!

While Tormund loves his humans most, he’s fine living with one calm, respectful dog, but he isn’t overly interested in canine companionship. Due to his strong prey drive, he cannot live with cats or small dogs, and while he’s not aggressive toward children, he’s a big boy who could easily knock over little ones—so older kids are best.

He’ll also need a very secure yard, as our gut says he could clear a 6-foot fence with ease. Tormund is the total package for someone who wants a loyal, focused, and driven companion.

Sinatra and Ava came into our care years ago under heartbreaking circumstances. After their owner passed away, his family couldn’t keep them, and they were left tied to our dumpster overnight with nothing but a note. When our team found them the next morning, they were scared and confused, their world suddenly turned upside down. With time, patience, and unconditional love from our dedicated staff, they began to heal.

Sinatra is incredibly sensitive and emotionally in tune—he longs for deep connection and will look into your eyes as if searching for your soul. He loves to cuddle, rest his head against yours, and be by your side with a bone in his mouth. If you’re looking for a soulmate in dog form, he’s your guy.

Ava, on the other hand, is a go-getter and the undeniable queen of zoomies. She’s playful, active, and full of goofy energy, always chasing a ball and keeping everyone around her laughing.

Both Sinatra and Ava are crate trained and well-behaved. They could be adopted together or separately, but each deserves a loving home where they’ll be cherished for the amazing dogs they are. After everything they’ve been through, they’re ready for a forever family to call their own.

Meet Kermit aka The Dirt Worm, your future bestie with zoomies in his heart and snacks on his mind. This high-energy love bug has major main character energy—he thrives on affection, attention, and being the center of your world (preferably while you're holding a treat).

Buddy thrives in the great outdoors. He lives for the water and could happily spend hours chasing a ball in the yard. When he's not playing fetch, you’ll find him sunbathing.

His eyes are something special — soulful and expressive, they seem to speak directly to your heart. Buddy longs for connection and bonds deeply with his humans.

He knows some basic commands and is incredibly smart, always eager to learn and please. With the right home, one that gives him space, love, and lots of playtime, Buddy the Elf will be your most loyal and joyful companion.

Buddy would do best in a calm, rural or suburban environment where he has access to a yard and plenty of outdoor time. He’s not a fit for busy city life or apartment living. He’d love an active adopter who enjoys fetch as much as he does, or where he can lay at your feet on the porch sunbathing and taking in the country life.

Cinnamon is one of the sweetest, gentlest souls you’ll ever meet. A senior gal with a heart full of love, Cinnamon lost her beloved human on Christmas Eve a few years ago. Since then, she’s carried some anxiety and grief—but what she truly longs for is a deep human connection like she once had.

Cinnamon, is the ultimate stuffed toy connoisseur and proud founder of the International House of (Neck)Pancakes—because no one flips over neck snuggles like she does. She’s got a taste for the finer things in life (only the premium treats, thank you very much) and carries herself with the class of a canine who knows she’s top tier. But don’t let the refined palate fool you—Cinnamon is also a card-carrying member of the Triple S Club: Smart, Sassy, and Silly. She’s an outdoorsy gal who loves adventure, but she’s also been known to melt into a puddle of mush on the couch faster than you can say “Netflix and belly rubs.” If competitive hole-digging were an Olympic sport, Cinnamon would bring home gold, dirt-covered and proud.

She’s respectful with the resident cats and gets along with kids, especially older ones who understand her gentle pace. New situations can bring out some anxiety, but once she settles in, she’s truly perfect.

Meet Dirk- Two words: Chaos Goblin.

Dirk is a one-dog party—equal parts mischievous mastermind and professional snuggle monster. He doesn’t just play, he invents games. You’ll know when he’s cooking up a new one because he gives you “the look”—that wild-eyed sparkle that says, brace yourself. He loves people, making new friends, and narrating his life out loud. Seriously, Dirk has opinions and he’s not shy about sharing them.

Despite his chaotic energy, Dirk is also a world-class cuddler. When he's not starting imaginary games or adopting a toy for months at a time (yes, he picks one and commits), he's all about curling up next to you and being your Velcro sidekick.

Sister was born on our Texas property, along with Chatty and Genevieve. Their lives intertwined with a story not of their choosing. Once, this place belonged to another—a breeder who brought them into the world, only to leave it behind in the most tragic of ways. In an instant, their fate was rewritten, their safety shattered, and they were left to fend for themselves in the only home they had ever known. But they were not alone. They had their pack—their brothers in spirit, Merlin and Goliath, and two others who stood beside them in the wake of loss. Together, they formed the original Five, bound not by blood but by survival, by instinct, by an unbreakable thread of wild resilience.

Time, however, is relentless. It weaves joy and sorrow into a single tapestry, never pausing, never faltering. Over the years, they lost their mighty protectors—Merlin, the wise and gentle soul, and Goliath, a force as strong as his name. Their absence is felt in the quiet moments, in the spaces where they once stood, in the wind that carries their memory across the land they called home.

Now, only three remain. Sister, Chatty, Genevieve, and one other—silent witnesses to the passage of time, the last embers of a once-brilliant flame. They carry the weight of the past, the grief of those they have lost, and yet, they endure. Because that is what survivors do.

Kitten season is in full swing…… 

🐾 Mama Cat & Her Mother’s Day Miracles 🐾

Meet the newest little family in our care! This is Mama Cat from our most recent household colony undergoing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). She gave birth to her kittens on Mother’s Day, making her babies just about 2 weeks old now . Mama was incredibly smart and evaded our traps for days—but we finally got her. We had to take them in sooner than we had hoped because unfortunately, they were in pretty rough shape when we found them. But after some much-needed TLC and warm baths, they’re already looking and feeling so much better. 💛

We also took in a couple single kittens this week, around 7 and 8 weeks old. Thankfully, both are in good health and eating on their own. 🙌

Last weeks little family of a Mama Cat and her spicy kittens have settled in and are doing much better. We have named Mama cat Trix, and her babies are Fruit Loops, Captain Crunch, and Apple Jacks.

Mother Goose and her babies are doing well, but we still desperately need cat & kitten food, and kitten milk replacement.

Every rescue is a small miracle, and we’re so grateful to give these sweet souls a second chance. Stay tuned for updates on this growing little families! 🐱🐾

The Mysterious Stranger Who Moved In….One day, BB

No fancy schedule, no set plan—just us and a whole bunch of adorable dogs doing what they do best: being their goofy, lovable, chaotic selves. We’re popping on LIVE whenever we can to introduce some of our adoptable pups and sponsor stars, live on TikTok (& possibly Youtube).

🐾 Pumpkin & Blueberry Bites for Dogs 🐶

A healthy, refreshing frozen treat your pup will love!

📝 Ingredients:

• 1 cup pumpkin purée (unsweetened – not pumpkin pie filling)

• 1/2 cup oat flour (or finely ground oats)

• 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)

• 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin purée, oat flour, and peanut butter. Mix until a thick dough forms.

2. Roll into 1-inch balls and gently flatten into discs.

3. Press one blueberry into the center of each disc.

4. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Freeze for 2–3 hours or until firm.

6. Serve frozen as a tasty, healthy treat!

📦 Storage:
Keep in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
